The October Communication

Moses Michael Hays Lodge convenes its stated communication on Thursday, October 8, at the Masonic Building, 460 Newtonville Avenue. The lodge opens on the Third Degree at 6:15 PM, with business following at 6:20, and the evening carries the Annual Meeting, at which the officers, trustees, auditor, and committees render their yearly reports. At 7:00 PM the brethren and their guests sit to dinner, chicken parmigiana catered by MIDA at $25.00 per plate, with all welcome at the table. At 8:00 PM the lodge receives Michael Centola, District Deputy Grand Master of the Fifth Masonic District, on his Official Visit, accompanied by Jared H. LaLiberte, District Deputy Grand Marshal, Michael Mandello, District Deputy Grand Secretary, and a suite of distinguished Masons.

September in Retrospect

Returning to labor after the summer recess, the lodge welcomed J. Roberto Rodriguez, District Grand Master of the Panama District, accompanied by Ricardo Viera, Master of Logia America Lodge, and the Second District Lodge of Instruction. The evening also closed a musical era: Dana A. Jackson retired after forty-four years at the keys and now bears the title Organist Emeritus.

Lodge of Instruction

The Fifth Lodge of Instruction meets at Newtonville on Tuesday, October 27, taking York Rite Night for its topic, and again on Tuesday, November 24, on the Shrine Clown Unit. Registration opens at 6:45 PM with the session beginning at 7:00, and officers, members, and candidates are cordially invited.
